Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber (UHMWPE), also known as high-strength high-modulus polyethylene fiber, is the fiber with the highest specific strength and specific modulus in the world, and its molecular weight is 1 million to 5 million polyethylene. Its special attributes can be as follows:
1, high specific strength, high specific modulus. The specific strength is more than ten times that of the same section of steel wire, and the specific modulus is second only to the special grade carbon fiber.
2.The fiber density is low, the density is 0.97-0.98g/cm, and it can float on the water surface.
