Low shrink PETG shrink film is designed for standard bottle shapes where controlled shrink performance and dimensional stability are required. This type of PETG shrink film provides consistent results, reducing the risk of over-shrinking and distortion during production.

It is widely used by shrink sleeve converters who value production efficiency, low defect rates, and stable processing conditions.

Low Shrink PETG Shrink Film has a controlled and steady shrinkage curve that maximes at around 75% to 78% under maximum heat (100°C), but it reacts much more moderately at standard tunnel temperatures (e.g., only 25% shrinkage at 70°C).

Because of this highly stable, controlled contraction profile, it is designed to prevent over-shrinking, crushing, or graphic distortion. It is most suitable for:

1. Standard & Simple Bottle Shapes

• Straight-Walled Cylinders: Classic aluminum beverage cans, straight glass spirit bottles, and cylindrical plastic jars.

• Gently Tapered Bottles: Containers that narrow slightly from bottom to top without sudden, dramatic steps or deep curves.

• Symmetry: Balanced shapes where the film shrinks uniformly around the body without having to pull tightly into deep recesses.

2. High-Speed Production Lines

• Because the low-shrink variant provides exceptionally predictable performance, it is ideal for massive manufacturing runs where consistency is key. It reduces the risk of the film “smiling” or wrinkling if the shrink tunnel temperature fluctuates slightly.
